Learn to Drive with Basil

I am an independent Approved Driving Instructor and I've providing driving lessons in the Camberley area since 2012. Before that time I worked in the Licensed Trade for 35 years, running a succession of pubs, in Southampton and then in Surrey Heath.

I started my career as a driving instructor with one of the big driving schools, BSM; in mid 2020 though I decided to go fully independent, so I bought a car and stuck my name on it. I have no regrets! The car I currently use is a Peugeot 308 manual, petrol, which I find an absolute joy to drive.

I live in Camberley, which is a good central location for the areas where I teach. I use Farnborough driving test centre. It has a good pass rate compared to many other test centres; it is also a good place to teach, because it has a surprisingly large variety of roads in close proximity to each other.
